After the practice game against Sekka High, Rou and some of the other team members continue training on their own, but what Rou is really looking forward to is a real game. Coach Nihei tells everyone about an upcoming invitational tournament where all the big teams will be competing. Oinokami might even have a shot at revenge against Sameoh, the team they lost to in the championship. The invitational kicks off with a skills contest, and a chance for the first-years to show what they can do!
Biographical note:
Satoru Noda was born in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, Japan. He moved to Tokyo to work in the manga industry as an art assistant. After publishing a couple of one-shot stories, his first serialized manga series was the hockey-focused Supinamarada!, published in 2011. In 2014, he began work on Golden Kamuy, which became a commercial and critical success, winning the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2018. After the conclusion of Golden Kamuy, he rebooted Supinamarada! under the new title Dogsred in 2023.
