Béja and Nataël
Nataël and Béja (his son, born in 1961) have been creating graphic novels together since the 1980s. Nataël studied the sociology of art and wrote his thesis on the connections between literature and comic books. He creates the plot and text for the graphic novels and Béja is the illustrator. Béja was passionate about drawing from a young age and always loved comics. But before he even drew his first comic, with a childhood friend, he built a set of a Tintin figurines and scenery and created a game. Their first ''bande dessinée'' of the Famous Five was published in 2016 and they have created 7 so far.
