      Synopsis

Professional dog walker Ellie Engleman doesn't know much about the ins and outs of dog shows. But when one handler is killed, Ellie will learn that it's a dog-eat-dog world. Especially since the killer might now have it out for her. She and her sometime boyfriend, Detective Sam Ryder, will have to dig up the truth faster than a speeding bulldog...

      • Another great book
        From Amazon

I loved this book!! As in the other two in this series, the interaction of the dogs and the main character is funny and engaging. I couldn't put it down until I read the whole book in one sitting!! Great job again Judi!

      • Little Disappointed
        From Amazon

The story line was good, but I personally missed the interaction of the dogs while being walked. Since the whole concept of the series is "the dog walker" and the interaction between her, her personal dog, and her charges, while solving the mystery, I felt the story lost a lot by palming the "walking" duties off on someone else.

      • Love a good dog!!!
        From Amazon

This whimisical mystery involves a dog walker who can mentally talk to her dogs including her pooch, Rudy. And a real treat he is I would not mind having him for a pet cause I really talk to my babies. Anyway, she walks a large group of dogs daily and one of her dogs is a show dog. The lady owning the dog invites her to come to the dog show as her guest and the professional walker she hired dies. Well from then on there is nothing but murder, mayhem and smart ass dogs. I love it and the dogs are precious. A really fun laugh out loud mystery.

      • Judi does it again!
        From Amazon

This is the third book in the series and as expected, they just get better! I love Ellie and her relationship with Rudy and her "charges" and Luci "Dog Show Diva" was a delightful addition to the crew. Her "just stand back and let me do my thing" attitude is a hoot...and then there's Rudy's infatuation with the high-class Luci. I'm trying hard not to spoil anything, but be prepared for the scene where Ellie sees Mr. T's choice of "attire"...just about worth the price of admission alone! We know early on the basic crime & how it's done...we think...but Judi takes us through twists and turns to the solution of the mystery. All I can say is "Judi, write faster!" Waiting for the next installment is too hard!

      • The Dog Walker Mysteries Are A Must Read!!!
        From Amazon

I've been privileged to read all of Judi McCoy's Dog Walker Mysteries from the beginning. From her first book, I've been hooked!! For a first book, Hounding The Pavement, was a couldn't put down book. Likewise, Death In Show is another one of those can't put down books! I love the way the characters speak as anyone can relate to them. The storylines are fun to follow with surprising endings. I have been a fan since the first and plan to continue to follow this series. I highly recommend Ms. McCoy's books for anyone who enjoys reading. Once you've read this book, if you haven't read the others, you will definitely want to.
