  • Can't Wait!
    From Amazon

Can't wait until my little one is big enough to eat some of the recipes in this book. They look easy and yummy.

  • Great book
    From Amazon

I loved this book! Got it for my babyshower and cooked every recipe in it. The recipies are simple and my son loved them. I highly recomend it.

  • Exactly What I Was Looking For
    From Amazon

I am very happy with my purchase. I will be making my own baby food at home and needed a good book to keep for reference and general guidance before I got started. I was looking for a book that had recipes, cooking tips, nutrition info, freezing and reheating info, and general rules of thumb for selecting, introducing and feeding baby solids. This book has just the right amount of everything in it. Each recipe has helpful icons that indicate age, yield, cook time and suitability for freezing. I like the layout of the book, they visual appeal, and the overall organization. I especially like the helpful "food facts" included throughout the book, for example, "carrots are more nutritious when cooked with a little fat, such as a pat of unsalted butter, as the beta carotene they contain is absorbed more readily."

  • Excellent Book!
    From Amazon

I'm seeing a lot of reviews that seem to give this book a bad rep. If these people had bothered to read the intro to the book they would have found loads of information from the author explaining about food allergies and that certain ingredients should be used only for older babies. If your child is prone to allergies then have the commen sense to avoid those types of food. But if you've gotten the green light from your pediatrician then you're all set to try these great recipes. My son is just turning 6 months old and our pediatrician encouraged us to start slowly with solids around 4.5 months. But my son hated all of the boring rice cereals and baby oatmeals that are typical first foods. So I tried making some of the more basic fruit and veggie purees from this book. My son LOVES them. He is already showing an appreciation for all sorts of fruits and vegetables and will hopefully continue to do so when we introduce him to some of the more complex recipes in this book. I've taste tested everything I've given him and these recipes are a vast improvement over the store-bought baby foods. They're yummier, they're healthier and they cost so much less to make.

  • Love this!
    From Amazon

I love the fact that this book also includes information about introducing solids, not just the recipes. So far my little man likes everything but the sweet potatoes with broccoli.
