Description
The purpose of this book is to lift the curtain on the relationship between the judiciary and media, as it is imperative that we explore the judiciary’s approach to media and communication. How does the judiciary “use” the media? How and why does it use it? Is its approach up to par with modern time technology? How can the judiciary justify the saying that not knowing the law is no excuse if it does not use communication, media, and advertising to inform the public of the law? How can “idiots” avoid falling in the trap of ignorance without media and communication? Based on this principle, it is time for the judiciary to interact with the media, the law with communication, and the courts with communications technology.
Biographical note
Ramsay G. Najjar founded S2C in 2002 with a vision of transforming the region’s communication landscape by offering strategic counsel to multinational and regional corporations and public entities, supporting them in reaping the benefits of a strategic approach to communicating with their various stakeholders. As a veteran of the media and advertising industry in the region, with over 20 years of experience in the communication field, Ramsay has long advocated the role of political communication as a means to foster an ongoing dialogue between citizens and government in the region, raise awareness amongst the public, build confidence and support, change attitudes, opinions and even legislation and revive political life.He has also long foreseen the role that strategic communication can play in bolstering companies’ images and equity, at a time when organizations are increasingly competing to have audiences identify with their brands and are expected, more than ever before, to be socially responsible and play active roles in the communities they serve.Ramsay has accompanied a wide range of public and private organizations on the journey of transforming their communication to fulfill their strategic goals, resulting in numerous success stories that are benchmarked and emulated throughout the region. Today, he continues to shape the regional communication industry and is an authority and reference on communication, whose expertise is widely sought, as well as a regular speaker at the most prominent communication and business conferences.
