Natural Heritage from the Mediterranean, Spaces and Species II; a series of 12 titles. The series consumates the works of the authors over more than three and a half decades. The fascination created the constant drive that led the authors to the fields to inhale the natural beauty. The ecological understanding satiated the minds of the scientists in a continuous animation of concepts and principles bringing them to root with their teachings. The amalgamation fueled their passionate and consecrated love of the nature of Lebanon and led them over the years to document this natural treasure from the Mediterranean. Fieldwork marked their daylight activity roaming the land of Lebanon learning and recording their findings, sampling the plant life to take back to their laboratory. The extended evenings were spent between their stereoscopes and their computers. Photographic guide to wild flowers of Lebanon

This book is the second in a series attempting to provide nature lovers with a user friendly field guide to help them appreciate and understand the flora around them. The book describes 400 different flowers, where and when they were found, and provides the scientific name, common names in Arabic and English, and their characteristics (endemic, edible, medicinal, toxic, aromatic, endangered and plants with special Lebanese significance).
